Happy 1 Year Anniversary
I can’t believe it’s been one year already since I signed on with Clark Real Estate Group!
When I interviewed with Tim Clark, he asked me, “Are you sure you really want to do this crazy business?”
“Absolutely,” was my reply.
My dad had a brokerage in Grapevine as well as developing the hospital as a doctor at Grapevine Memorial… I don’t know how he did all he did, but real estate has always been a fascination through investments of both of my parents.
I also believed (and still do), that my experience with seniors can be leveraged into a career that isn’t as hard on my body physically as being an occupational therapist.
What’s New at the Zoo?
Well, a lot of changes are afoot. While I met many of my goals, such as self development – meeting every one of those goals. However, I was sadly lacking in my personal reassessment for lead generation which impacted my income goals.. . So, updating my database, contacting my friends, family, acquaintances and meeting new people are all on my agenda, but not in a pushy alienating way. I have some great tools to offer to stay up with your neighborhood pricing, shopping virtually comfortably from your home in your desired location.
Also, tapping into the programs I’ve signed up with, and have taken classes/designations in from the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES©), to Certified Probate Expert (CPE), to my affiliation with Heroes Housing Assistance. You’ll be hearing a lot more about these topics in my blog. Because my blog posts have been sadly lacking this year. This coming year I’m adding more video, more written posts, and hopefully more interaction with you!
I originally signed up to join The Owen Team. Jessica had handled our buyer side of our home purchase transaction in 2018. It was a good initial year in the business, but our goals have diverged and I’m opting to fly solo but still under the Clark Real Estate Group brokerage. I love the Clark difference, and I wish The Owen Team well.
Well, I’m building on the foundation I’ve built for the last year. I’m building out my database, working on my weaknesses and making them into strengths. Tapping into resources available in my affiliations to bring your better service and more knowledge for your goals.
I’m tapping into the works of Tom Ferry, Brian Icenhower, and Krista Mashore, merging them into a megalith of ways to provide service for your needs. (Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of them, but they are pretty phenomenal real estate agent gurus).
I’ll be writing more blogs, doing more videos, and covering the Mineral Wells Real Estate scene. I’ll be working the areas of my specializations. Promoting heroes events as much as possible. Making myself available for consults for seniors, and probate issues in addition to other buyer and seller needs.
And I’ll be more available to meet with you – clients and customers – to discuss your needs and solve your real estate dilemmas to the best of my ability. What do you need in the next year? Let’s visit!
Here’s a look back of highlights from the past year!
